  • Where can I pick-up my registration packet?

    Registration packets can be picked up on July 26, 2019 between 12:00pm and 6:30pm at the Paradise Creek Bicycles located at 513 S Main St, Moscow, ID 83843. Packets can also be picked up on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the race start Guy Wicks Field.

  • Can I still register?

    Registrations will be taken online until the Fondo start time. You can also register on Saturday July 27, 2019 at Guy Wicks Field prior to the Fondo starting.

  • When does each race start?

    The start time for the Fondo are listed as follows:

    • 6:30 – Registration opens
    • 7:00 AM – 100 Mile Moscow Fondo
    • 8:00 AM –  50 Mile Potlatch Fondo
    • 9:00 AM –  50 Mile Latah / Chipman Fondo
    • 10:00 AM – Family Fondo

  • What are the course rules?

    1. Have Fun! Fondo on the Palouse is a ride, not a race
    2. We are traffic on an open course. Please observe Idaho and Washington State Rules for operating a bicycle – Obey all traffic lights, signs, and flaggers
    3. Ride in a single file line
    4. No sprinting
    5. No drafting while using aerobars at any time
    6. Leave a cushion between you and the other riders especially while riding for the first several miles
    7. Be predictable. Don’t make sudden stops or swerves. Communicate with hand and audible signals stopping and turning. Point in the direction you are turning.
    8. Pass on the left. Announce “On your LEFT!”
    9. Slower riders stay on right side of road

  • Where are the aid stations located?

    There will be 10 Aid Stations positioned every 10 miles. Mile markers will be on signage around the course. There is a map online at fondopalouse.org that displays the aid station locations.

  • Will there be support vehicles?

    1. 2 Support And Gear (SAG) vehicles – 1 for the Potlatch Fondo and 1 for the Moscow Fondo.
    2. Each vehicle can carry 2 riders and 2 bikes
    3. At 4:00PM the SAG vehicles will either take remaining riders to AID Station 10 to finish on Latah Trail or to the finish line for after ride celebration. All riders on the course after 4:00PM who opt to stay on the course will have to surrender their number plates for pick up at finish line.
    4. SAG Vehicles wiill have a ham radio operator, tools, air, tubes, emergency calories and hydration

  • What are the cut off times?

    At 3:00pm the last shuttle will start the final lap. All riders still on the course will be shuttled either to the finish line or to the start of the Chipman trail. The Finish Line Celebration Runs from 12:00PM – 6:00PM Games and Music with Food and Ice Cream.

  • Where should I park?

    Winco Parking Lot  Corner of Perimeter and HWY 8 (Pullman HWY) across from Guy Wicks Field (Start / Finish Line)
